The Civil Society Commissariat (C.S.C.) is a structure of the civil society which started its activity on the 1st October 2003. The legal frame of the establishment is mentioned by the foresights O.G. 26/2000, modified by the O.G. 37/2003. C.S.C. has a juridical personality and is functioning as an unique structure based on similar Ombudsman’s principles and has territorial representations in the counties of the country and also abroad.
C.S.C monitories any kind of abuses and its personnel staff carry out efforts to defend human rights and generally the decrease of the breaking of the law phenomenon and the bureaucracy.
The commissariat intends to establish a civil society authority, able to carry out national and international interest actions, having the goal to reach its purposes.
The goal of this organism is to become a mediator and a negotiator between the civil society on one hand and the representative institutions of the state or of the international instance of decision on the other hand. The Civil Society needs upright, healthy structures, control mechanism and adjustment of eventually malfunctioning which can appear in its evolution. These mechanisms have to be able to diminished or to reduce as much as possible the negative elements which damage the image of the Romanians in the national medias and abroad.
C.S.C. wants to become this kind of regulation mechanism, a junction between the organs and the state institutions and the human collectivity, focusing only to serve the interest of the citizen.

The Civil Society Commissariat is the institution which offers to those who wish to contact the Commissariat the certitude that entering into a united family they become more powerful. Here we are equal and we promote the principle one for all and all for one. We fight to discover the lies, the abuses and against the vicious actions which are often meant to discredit the image that we have in society.
As a unique structure at the representation level, the Civil Society Commissariat tries to mediate the conflicts which appear between the civil society and the power, emphasizing the provision of the presumption of innocence, which in our country, unfortunately, has not pre-eminence. It is enough to be accused and you are treated as a guilty man by those who do not know and do not believe in the human values, thus contributing to the degradation of the human spirit.
That is why, we have decided to be here for You and to fight for the rights you have against these abuses, which destroy our future and life.
Come and join us and united we will be stronger, we need values to create values, not to substitute us to some state authority but to professionalize together with the important representatives of the civil society and the projects of those who were chosen to represent our common interests and especially to defend our rights.

Commissariat for Civil Society ( C.C.S.) dissociates of any person pretending our affiliation to an european organism, component of E.U. or who assimilates us with a military structure. C.C.S. is an organization of civil society, independent, apolitical, autonomous, established in Romania. Therefore C.C.S. commissioners are not E.U. staff.
The connection bethween C.C.S. and E.U. consists in a dialogue and an information exchange regarding to circumstances in Romania or abroad. |
